Course Outline
Work Health and Safety (WHS) induction training is a requirement for persons wanting to work in the construction industry or go onto a construction site. Our Nationally Recognised White Card Construction Induction course covers the basic WHS knowledge required to gain entry to any construction site within Australia.

 Prerequisites
  • Student must demonstrate the ability to understand and use basic Language, Literacy and Numeracy.
  • All students must provide USI upon Enrolment
  • Students must be 16 yrs or older

Assessment
Assessments will be conducted throughout the workshop which allows the opportunity for learners to demonstrate their competency. Assessment methods will include a combination of the following:
  • Written and verbal questioning
  • Observation and demonstration 
On successful completion of the unit CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, Learners will receive a Statement of Attainment and White Card. Your construction induction card remains valid as long as you maintain your competencies; this is, you have worked in the construction industry within the last 2 years.

Photo Identification 
All participants of the course must provide 100 points of identification with at least one form of Photo Identification (Australian drivers licence, passport, or proof of age card) identification must include photo, signature and date of birth.
